The Problem
Jessop Jewellers’ store was outdated and one of the biggest challenges was to synchronize their inventory management system (BSMART) with the new Shopify versions. Due to unwanted and bulky design elements, the loading speed of the store was hampered, which led to lags and increased bounce rates. So, it was difficult for the store to offer a smooth buyer’s journey and maintain a hassle-free checkout flow. The absence of category texts and keywords also reduced the chances of search engine rankings to a minimum.
The Solution
Our team first performed an eCommerce audit and then built a customized Shopify theme that would help the client optimize the store’s frontend. Besides, we also integrated the mega menu and tested design mock-ups to boost engagement, improve page loading speed, decrease the bounce rate, and increase the authorization rate.
